Dear Friends,
The John A. Reisenbach Foundation is now in its 25th year, and we have many exciting initiatives in the works that will enable us to do even more “For a Better and Safer New York City.”
In 2015, we completed the first phase of a three-year scale-up plan, and we are proud to say that with your support we met 100% of our goals. In particular, the donors to our 24th Annual Gala: A Tribute For A Better and Safer New York made possible some very significant gains. This fundraiser was so successful that we will be increasing our grantmaking by 50% in 2016! We cannot thank our generous supporters enough.
As our grantmaking capacity grows, we continue to be impressed and inspired by our grantee partners. These outstanding organizations include Foster Pride, where girls learn entrepreneurial and budgeting skills from the John A. Reisenbach Financial Horizons program; The New York Foundling’s Child Abuse Prevention Program workshops, where children learn to recognize and protect themselves from abuse; and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where high-achieving students studying criminal justice and forensic science are eligible for The John A. Reisenbach Master’s Scholarships.
Thus far in 2016, we have been fulfilling our New Year’s resolution of continuing to increase our grantmaking and outreach. We have many wonderful things in store, including more events, more opportunities to engage with our grantees, and, of course, our 25th annual gala. We are so grateful to have you with us on on this journey as we work together to do even more for the city we call home.
Don’t forget to follow the Reisenbach Foundation on social media! We are on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. It is an honor for our foundation to count you as a friend.
All the best,
