Cathy Frankel is the CEO and General Counsel of Mario Batali Enterprises LLC and Via Alta Productions LLC, Marioâs video production company. Prior to joining these companies, Cathy was a partner at Moses & Singer LLP for 22 years, where she was Chair of the Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Advertising and Technology Law Group. While at Moses & Singer, Cathy had a broad-based practice, with an emphasis on the television, motion picture, home video and internet production and distribution, print and electronic publishing, music, merchandising, computer, software and internet industries, talent agreements, and the licensing of intellectual property and other rights for use in all forms of media and merchandising. Cathy has lectured and written on subjects involving intellectual property and the entertainment and advertising industries.
While in private practice, Cathy also represented numerous non-profit organizations.⨠Sheâs been on the Board of the John A. Reisenbach Foundation for over a decade and on the Board of Directors of the Mario Batali Foundation since 2008.
