
Jack Myers is a media ecologist and chairman of Myers Media Business Network, a social community and business-to-business intelligence publisher serving media, marketing, advertising and entertainment professionals.
He is a technology and economic visionary, award-winning documentary film producer, author and founder of the Women in Media Mentoring Initiative. His latest book, Hooked Up: A New Generationâs Surprising Take on Sex, Politics and Saving the World, won the International Book Award for Youth Issues. Jack also has investments in a portfolio of more than three dozen digital media and entertainment companies. Jack is the recipient of the George Foster Peabody Award, won the Crystal Heart Award from the Heartland Film Festival, and has been nominated for both an Academy and Emmy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He co- produced the GE Focus Forward Films documentary series.
Jack is a Board Member of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. He served on the Advisory Board for the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York
University.
