JAR Trailblazers Council Grantee: Bottom Line

The JAR Trailblazers Council are taking over for the last week of fundraising for the Summer in a Safe City campaign!

We are extremely excited to announce all funds raised the week of Monday, September 24th through Friday September 28th will go towards the non-profit organization Bottom Line—a grantee recipient chosen by the JAR Trailblazers.

About Bottom Line:

Bottom Line is dedicated to helping first-generation students from low-income backgrounds get into college, graduate, and go far in life. Bottom Line’s vision is to dramatically transform urban communities with thousands of new, career-ready college graduates. As one of the first community-based organizations to focus on college completion, they now operate regional programs in Boston (where we were founded in 1997), New York City, and Chicago, collectively serving over 7,800 students. With almost 2,800 alumni, their historical graduation rate is 78 percent, almost 20 percentage points above the national average.

About JAR Trailblazers:

The JAR Trailblazer Council is composed of passionate, engaged young professionals who are committed to the mission of John A. Reisenbach Foundation. Trailblazers are change agents for a thriving, compassionate, New York City, and they serve as ambassadors of the Foundation to reach and activate a new generation. The Trailblazers contribute their time, expertise and passion to the John A. Reisenbach Foundation with the goal of making a difference in our community.
