Molly Barreca is the director of development for NY27 Productions, where she specializes in the development and execution of original multiplatform content. Previously, Molly worked at ABC’s The View and was part of the show’s Emmy-award-winning 23rd season. While at the show, she co-produced The View’s heritage month series, creating profiles and segments to celebrate PRIDE, Women’s History Month, and more. In her time at ABC, Molly also worked on longform content, conceptualizing and developing various unscripted projects for the network and external buyers. She is deeply passionate about using her fascination with trends and media to tell authentic stories. After graduating from Miami University (OH), she began her career at Disney/ABC Television working in public relations. During her tenure, Molly worked on the Corporate Communications and Entertainment publicity teams, collaborating on network initiatives and both unscripted and scripted projects.
