This is me (on the left) and a friend after graduating at Madison Square Garden! Doesn’t get more New York than this.
Dear Friends,
My name is Chinue Foreman, and I am ecstatic to introduce myself as the Program and Development Assistant of the John A. Reisenbach Foundation! I joined Reisenbach last month, and I am really excited about what the future holds for our organization.
If you have been keeping up with our social media platforms and our email blasts, you have been noticing an upsurge in activity on all of our accounts. As the newest staff member on the team, one of my projects is to use our internet presence to raise awareness of our programs and related initiatives around the city. For our Summer in a Safe City (#NYCSafeSummer) campaign, I have been tirelessly looking for resources and events to share with you. I hope that I have been introducing you to some new, exciting opportunities that you have not come across before.
As part of Summer in a Safe City, we are working to raise an additional $15,000 for our grants and programs. Your donations–whether big or small–support a wide array of important initiatives. We have recently featured Foster Pride’s HandMade financial literacy workshops for young girls in foster care and the child safety workshops of the Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) at New York Foundling. These are but two examples. To learn more about our program areas and projects, click here. To contribute, please click here.
Please always feel free to contact me directly at chinue.foreman@reisnebachfoundation.org. If you have any suggestions for fun events throughout the month of July, volunteer opportunities, or important resources that you would like to see featured, shoot me an email and I’ll get right back to you! Thank you, again, for all of your work to build a “better and safer New York.”
All the best,
Chinue
