The New York Police Foundation has been a partner with the Reisenbach Foundation for almost two decades. Their mission, is to provide the New York Police Department with the vital resources they need to do their necessary work. The Police Foundation raises funds for the Police Department through its network of donors. Funds go towards all facets of policing including, counterterrorism operatives, community partnerships, and even high tech crime fighting.
Arguably the most important resource that the New York Police Foundation offers is its Crime Stoppers program. Crimestoppers is a tool used by detectives to acquire anonymous tips that lead to the arrest and indictment of violent criminals. Tipsters are then eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. The Reisenbach Foundation has been one of the many supporters of Crime Stoppers.
