Korenet Brown is dedicated to serving the needs of others in her community. She lived and taught internationally before residing in New York City. She joined Reisenbach Philanthropies in 2018 and before that, worked for four years in New York City based nonprofits. She has held volunteer management positions within both the largest school-based after school program provider in the NYC metropolitan area and the largest social and human services provider in New York State. At both nonprofits, she stewarded relationships of individuals, community, and corporate partners. She streamlined internal processes, increased volunteer recruitment and retention, and created new volunteer programming to better serve the needs of clients. Korenet earned her Master of Public Administration from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and her BA in International Studies at Virginia Tech.
