Reisenbach Philanthropies Inc. (“Reisenbach,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors to the Site however it is accessed (whether on computer, mobile devices or otherwise, directly on reisenbachphilanthropies.org, or via redirection from reisenbachfoundation.org, jarnyc.org or any other site, or through linking from any third party site).  The purpose of this Policy is to inform our visitors (“you,” or “your”) about the types of information we gather about you when you visit the Site, how we may use that information, with whom it is shared, what choices you have regarding our use of your information and how you may access some of the information you provide to us.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you may provide to us, or that we may collect, offline and/or through other means (for example, at a live event, via telephone, or through email) or to information collected on any other website or application.

Because the internet is an evolving medium, we may need to change the Policy from time to time and, accordingly, we reserve the right to change this Policy at any time by posting a new privacy policy at this location.  Therefore, we encourage you to refer to this Policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our Policy and are aware of any changes.  Continued access will constitute your acceptance of any such changes. To the extent we provide notice to you on the Site that different or additional privacy policies or practices apply (for example, at the point we collect your personal information), those additional terms shall govern such data collection and use.

Without limiting anything set forth anywhere in this Policy, we can and will use and disclose IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to protect the Site, to enforce our Terms of Use or to comply with applicable law.

SUMMARY:
1. We ask you for, and use technology to detect, information about you. Some of this information is shared with others, including our service providers.
2. Third parties, including, but not limited to, our service providers, may also collect information about you.

We use the personally identifiable information and other information we collect about you, or that you provide, for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, in order to present the Site, obtain information about the Site’s visitors, or to communicate with you. We may also provide you with an opportunity to learn more information about our sponsors and grantees.

The information you provide, both personal and non-personal, may be stored on your web browser, locally on your device, and/or in our and/or our service provider’s databases and by third-party websites or applications you link to through the Site. Your personal information may be collected, stored, and/or processed outside your country or state of residency.
5. If you click on our “Donate” page you are directed off the Site and taken to our third party service provider’s website or app. If you make a donation to Reisenbach, we will request personal data, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. We collect such information to enable your donation and facilitate communicate with you about it. In addition, we may use this contact information to update you on Reisenbach’s work and to invite you to events, such as our annual Gala and educational panels, to increase your knowledge of our programs and grants, to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, and to answer any questions that you may have. We will not use your credit card information again unless you elect to make a recurring donation and authorize us to use such credit card for such purpose. If your credit card shows charges by us that you did not authorize, please contact info@reisenbachphilanthropies.org and we will work with you and your credit card company to correct such unauthorized charge.
6. Unless you specify that a gift be “anonymous” or otherwise request that your name not be listed, we may list your name among the names of our donors on the Site, in our event materials, and in other materials and media to recognize the generosity of those who support us. We do not sell or rent our donor lists to anyone. We also do not share your personal data with any third parties other than service providers we employ to perform functions on our behalf, such as sending postal mail and email, processing your donation and other credit card payments, and organizing events specifically designed to keep you abreast of Reisenbach’s and its grantees’ activities. These companies and individuals have access to your personal data as needed to perform their functions, but are not authorized to use it for any other purpose.
7. We may disclose your personally identifiable information and other information we collect about you or that you provide to us to service providers and other third parties we use to support our business.
8. We may also disclose your personally identifiable information and other information you provide for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us a third party’s email address to use any email functionality on our Site, we will transmit the contents of that email and your email address to the recipient(s).We may also disclose your personally identifiable information or other information to comply with any law or legal proceeding or process, to enforce our Terms of Use, or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of Reisenbach or any other person or entity.

You may change your personal information at any time by emailing info@reisenbachphilanthropies.org and putting “PRIVACY” in the subject line and describing the change you would like to make in the body of the email. Please note that if you request that we erase your information, we may retain some of your information as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and detection and comply with our legal obligations.
10. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS: We do not disclose the personal information of a California resident to any third party for its direct marketing purposes without consent. 11. EUROPEAN UNION RESIDENTS: This website is intended for residents of the United States. If you are a resident of the European Union, you have certain rights under the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
When you contact us through the Site, including through our Contact page or our Donate page, we may request that you supply personally identifiable information (for example, your name, your phone number(s), your email address, or your postal address), and you may elect to furnish us with other personally identifiable information (for example, your gender or birth date)(“Personal Information”). We may need some or all of this Personal Information in order to perform certain activities on or off the Site, however, furnishing this information is entirely voluntary. If you do not want your Personal Information to be collected or used by us or our third party services providers, please do not furnish it.  We and our third-party service providers may also use technology and methods that currently exist or may exist in the future to collect, process and store Personal Information. We may use your Personal Information for various purposes, such as responding to your inquiry or comments (on the Site or on social media embedded on the Site or on other social media used by Reisenbach), improving our Site, to customize your experience on the Site, to distribute newsletters and other communcations (which you will have the option to opt out of) and to enable you to participate in surveys, on-line events, and other activities sponsored or conducted by us or through the Site. We may also use your Personal Information to keep you up to date on our charitable programs, events, television specials, grantees, and for other information we think you’d be interested in hearing about.
Except as expressly set out in the Policy or as disclosed when you sign up for, or otherwise provide information to use, or participate in, an optional feature on the Site (e.g., signing up for newsletters or other communications), we will not, without your express prior authorization, disclose any personally identifiable information to a third party or use that information other than as described in this Policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13) without verifiable consent. If we learn that personally identifiable information of a child under age thirteen (13) has been collected on the Site, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information. If you believe such information was collected without proper consent, please notify us at info@reisenbachphilanthropies.org and provide all information necessary for us to delete the personal information of the child and to contact you.

  NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND MAY PROCESS AND STORE
When you visit or use our Site, in addition to Personal Information described above, we and our third- party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically and/or passively also collect, process and store other information. Examples of this type of information include your IP address or other unique device identifier; the type of Internet browser, mobile device, or computer operating system you use; the date and time you visited our Site; your device location, your mobile network; the pages you accessed and the time spent on each page; your media consumption on the Site (e.g., video viewing); the name of the website from which you linked to our Site; and other data involving your use of our Site (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may be non-identifying or may be associated with your Personal Information. Aggregate information is not linked to your Personal formation. We also may ask for additional information which you have the option not to provide. We and our third-party service providers may use various currently existing technology and methods and/or methods and technology that are subsequently developed to collect, process and store the Usage Information. This policy in no way restricts or limits our collection, processing and use of aggregate information and we may use and share this information with third parties to analyze trends, to gather information for aggregate use, and for marketing, fundraising, and promotional purposes.
Without limiting anything set out elsewhere in this Policy, we can and will use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use or to protect the Site, Reisenbach, Reisenbach’s sponsors or grantees, or other individuals. We also reserve the right to use or disclose non-personally identifiable information in any manner we see fit, including for purposes of improving the Site.
Some of the technologies we currently use on the Site or may use in the future to collect information are cookies and web beacons.

Mobile Device Technology:
Certain mobile service providers identify individual mobile devices and we and our third-party service providers may receive such information if you access the Site through a mobile device. Additional information may be collected when you use a mobile device to access the Site, including your mobile phone number and the physical location of your device; this information may be collected by your mobile service provider, our Site or our third-party service providers and such information may be shared with us.

Google Analytics:
We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Site and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. Our Site or our third party service providers may use geo-tracking software (or other location based service software).

Email Communications.
When you provide us with your e-mail address, for example, when you send us an email through our Contacts page, we share that information with our third-party service providers, and we may share your e-mail address with certain third parties that we believe may be of interest to you. We may also use e- mail addresses to occasionally deliver information relevant to you, such as fundraising campaigns, events, newsletters, promotions, surveys and notification of other noteworthy items. If you send us an e-mail with questions or comments, we may use the personal information you provide to respond to your questions or comments, and we may save your questions or comments for future reference. If you wish to change your preferences and “opt-out” of receiving those communications, you may request that we not e-mail you in the future by contacting us at info@reisenbachphilanthropies.org. When contacting us by e-mail, please send your request from the email address you wish to unsubscribe if possible and insert “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line and the body of the message. If you subscribe to any newsletter or other email alerts from us, you may request at any time that we not email you in the future by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link which will be located at the bottom of those email communications and hitting send. If you unsubscribe by emailing us or clicking the “unsubscribe” link, you should assume that your request has been received and is being processed. Please allow us ten (10) business days from our receipt of your request to complete the removal of your e-mail address from our database. As some of our communications may have been in process before you submitted your *unsubscribe” request, we will make reasonable efforts to discontinue these e-mail communications as soon as practicable.

CERTAIN THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTIONS.
We may disclose Personal Information and/or Usage Information to our sponsors, grantees, Board of Directors, employees, partners, service providers, contractors, and agents who assist us in providing services in connection with this Site and/or a Reisenbach-related activity. For example, when you donate to Reisenbach through the Site you will be redirected to a third-party website that is owned and/or hosted by a third party and any information you provide while on that website (signing up for newsletters and/or making a donation) will be governed by its privacy statement (please see the section entitled “Third Party Websites” below for more information).  In addition, we also allow access to our database by third parties we engage to assist us in designing, managing and hosting the Site and/or for providing certain other services. For example, we may hire a company to facilitate our online and/or email services, administer promotions (including contests and sweepstakes), or conduct surveys on our behalf; in these instances, we may need to share your Personal Information, but we do not authorize these third parties to use your Personal Information for any other purpose. 

THIRD PARTY WEBSITES, APPLICATIONS AND CONTENT.
Our Site contains links to other websites and may embed third party applications, as well as functionality that permits certain kinds of sharing and other interactions between the Site and your account(s) (and other persons’ and businesses’ accounts) on third party websites or applications, including but not limited to, links to sponsors’ and grantees’ websites and sharing with social media sites and applications. Those sponsors, grantees and other third party websites and applications may collect Personal Information, Usage Information and other information when you “click” on their logo or link (which may take you off our Site and redirect you to another website or application that we do not control), when pages from our Site are served to them or when you interact with their website or application in other ways from our Site. Third party service providers may implement or facilitate these sharing and other interactions. Note that when you use any “sharing” or social media functionality we provide on our Site, your email address, name, user-name or other Personal Information may be included in the information that is visible on our Site or the third party’s website or application, or included in what you send to your addressee(s). In addition, when you use a third party website or application that is embedded in or interacts with our Site, your user-name, messages and other information from such third party site or application may appear on our Site and we do not control of or have access to your communications through such sites or applications. In addition, some or all of these third parties’ websites, applications and/or service providers may share your personal information with us. These third parties may retain your personal or other information, and their practices are not subject to our Privacy Policy; you should review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policies of the applicable third party sites or applications before you use their tools on our Site, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or policies. nor do we endorse any such other websites, tools or applications. This Policy applies solely to information collected by our Site and does not cover information collected elsewhere, including without limitation on websites linked to from the Site.

EVENT REGISTRATION AND PRODUCT PURCHASES
If you register or purchase tickets through the Site for Reisenbach’s gala or another live or online event, or if you purchase any products through the Site, you may be directed to a third party service provider for such registration or purchase. We and/or the service provider may collect personal information in connection with such registration or purchase, including the name(s) of the attendee(s), email address(es), mailing address(es), size(s) (for sized products), telephone number(s), age(s), credit card number(s), and other personal and non-personal information, which may be shared by us and/or the service provider as needed to effectuate the registration for and attendance at such event, or to deliver the applicable purchase. We may also use such information to communicate with you and the other identified parties regarding additional information about such event(s), product(s), other products, other events, our programs, sponsors and grantees, or other information we believe might be of interest to you and such other parties.

SWEEPSTAKES, CONTESTS AND PROMOTIONS
We may offer sweepstakes, contests and/or other promotions (each a “Promotion”) through the Site that require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules, terms and conditions of that Promotion.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SHARING.
Though we make every reasonable effort to preserve the privacy of our users’ Personal Information, in addition to the uses and information sharing described above, we may need to disclose Personal Information as required by law, rule or regulation or where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, as requested by a governmental or law enforcement authority or other legal process. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS - This Section pertains only to users and visitors who reside in California.
