Lou began his career in media finance at Grey Advertising. His talents were quickly realized and he moved into a finance roll at a subsidiary of Grey Advertising called LBS Communications. Lou was part of the financial team that helped achieve the successful LBO of LBS Communications from Grey Advertising. As a seasoned financial and media, professional he was instrumental in achieving the sale of LBS to All American Communications, a public company. All American Communications asked Lou to join as its Chief Accounting Officer.

In 1997 All American Communications was purchased by Pearson Inc., which had a subsidiary called Pearson TV. Pearson TV asked Lou to join as its Chief Financial Officer. Pearson TV was rebranded as FremantleMedia the producers of high-profile shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent; Price is Right among several other network, cable, and syndicated programs. Lou joined Zero Point Zero Production in 2010 as its Executive Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs. Lou joined Reisenbach in 2005 as it Treasure and a Board member.​​​​​​​​​​
